| *Currency* First thing's first, you must know the currency of the game. The currency is called prestige. Prestige is what you will earn every time you battle. You can use prestige many different ways: buying ship upgrades, using it in the Ferengi Black Market and other things like that. Also, in battles you will earn Reputation (you will also get 30 rep to begin with). Reputation is how much you race is willing to give to you - more reputation - better ship. *Buying Ships* Your first ship will be given to you by signing up. Each Race Receivies 30 reputation for starting ships. As I said earlier, ships are bought by reputation. Ships have specific offensive and deffensive properties. Example: Intrepid - 14 4 - lightly armed scout vessel 6 - moderately armored but highly maneuverable 4 - relatively new ship The number after the ship class is how much reputation it costs, the numbers below it is offence, deffence, and it's rarity (rarity doesn't really play into much, it's just for your information). The offence points on this ship is 4 and the defence points on this ship is 6 and it gives the reason why. When you want to buy a ship, post it in the Ship Registry section of this site. After you have bought your ship you may add special weapons to it. Special Weapons are bought by Prestige, and you get 30 Prestige when you're buying special weapons for the first time. After you have bought your ships and your special weapons, keep up with your reputation, because that's how you buy more ships. Keep in mine that everytime you buy a ship, you don't get 30 prestige, just when you first start. After buying your ship and buying special weapons, you must commission it and name it at your race's Star Base. *Intersteller Bank* The Intersteller Bank (IB) is just so people can keep up with their prestige and reputation (and to cut down on the cheating - CHEATING WILL BE DELT WITH WITH MAJOR PUNISHMENT!!!). Once you have bought your ship and your special you MUST post the amout of reputation and prestige you have left. This is not optional, you must keep all of your money (prestige and reputation) in here. When you wish to make a purchase you must post a statment under your account saying "Withdrawing 50 prestige - 100 prestiege left, 25 reputation left". *Moving Ships* You can move ships by posting in the Board Fleets Movement forum. You have 12 moves per day - or you can move 12 squares per day. The map has numbers on the side which makes moving more easier. You can find the map here. Once the day ends, you loose all of your remaining turns. You may use them all on one ship or spread them out between ships. Your post needs to look like this: Moving Starship1432's Amsterdam from 21,23 to 21,35 (if you are Klingon or Romulan you must put the status of the ship --- Cloaked or Not Cloaked) There are also wormholes on the map (locations are specified in the Map section of the site). If you wish to enter a wormhole then you must specify where you are entering it and where you are coming out (to keep things as simple as posible, if you enter a wormhole then you can come out any wormhole you want to on the map). If you enter a wormhole it takes up 2 moves instead of the regular one. You MAY move ships diagonally. **Note** There is only 12 moves PER PERSON not per ship. *Attacking Other Ships* When you move to a secter which another ship or station is located in you may attack it. Attacks are calulated by a special attack calculater that the Moderators have (don't worry, it was made for this game). A Moderator will post the results after he calculates it. If you are the attacker you need to post a form othe the folling ing the Attacking forum: Starship1432's Amsterdam attacking So'n'So's Ship(the name of the ship) at 21,35. Then you need to post the stats of your ship and what specials you want to use in that battle. After the battle you will either loose or gain reputation, the winner will recieve an extra prestige amount. The loss and gain of money is decided by the defence of the ships divided by 2 (round down), whatever amout that comes out to is how much reputation the looser will loose and how much the winner will gain. Add 5 to the repution earned and that's how much the winner will gain in prestige. *Repairing your Ships* Only when you are at your or your allie's Star Base or Outpost can you repair your ships, with the exception of a special weapon that indicates otherwise. Once your ships start repairing it takes 1 full day to repair. Once you start the process you can't take get out of it. *Destroyed Ships* If your ship get's destroyed than you MUST wait for 3 days untill it's built again. You must pay for another ship unless you have no reputation, if this is the case contatct a moderator and they'll loan you 30 reputation. THIS IS ONLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH REPUTATION FOR AT LEAST AN AKIRA. *Decommisioning/Selling Ships* When you would like to get rid of one of your ships you can do one of two things. First off you can decomission it. All you do is take the ship to your base and say that you are decomissioning it. The decommission value is the same price you payed for it. Secondly you can sell it, which is like an auction. Star off by saying the opening bid and the highest bidder gets it. EDITTING POSTS IN AN AUCTION WILL BE DELETED AND THE PERSON WILL BE DISSQUALIFIED FROM THE AUCTION. *Moons* Moons give the owner an additional 1 prestige per day. A Mining facility is required to receive the prestige. Mining facilities are free. A special on-site Outpost is optional, and protects your Moon from attacks. Outpost information folows. *Outposts* You can not construct Star Bases but you can construct Outposts. In order to construct an outpost you must have a ship at your Star Base to load the construction material onto your ship. Every person is entittled to 1 outpost (if your's gets destroyed then you can build another one). Once you get to the desired spot of your outpost you must specify (in the movement forum) that you are building it there an what name you are using for it. Outposts take 2 weeks to construct. Outposts cost 20 reputation and 30 prestige. Their stats are as follows: Offence:60 Defence:60 *Allies* Only Race Leaders can make alliances between each other. When you want to make a allieship you must contact a Moderator. Once an allieship is made you must post a topic saying "Allieship made between Federation and Klingon". Race leaders... remember to not make many allieships because the people under you will get tired and start attacking your allies. *X0* XO is an abbriviation for Xecutive Officer. If you don't understand the game verry well you may become someone's XO. You MUST fist ask the person and have him accept your request before you can before you say it officially. The longets you can be someone's XO is 3 weeks. In that time the person who is in charge of your ship should explain the game. If they don't then contact any Moderator and they will take care of it. After battles the XO earns HIMSELF prestige and reputation, it is not transfured to the Person who is teaching the XO. *Quitting* Quiting the game is verry simple, post a new topic in the Board Fleets General Chat saying that you are quitting. You may not give any prestige, reputation, or ships to any other player. Your Ships are automaticlly decommissioned so you can't come back in a month or two saying that you had five ships just sitting there waiting for you to come back.
